Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings; Kathryn Puseman
Year: 1992
Summary
Samples from two test units at Site 42UT668 in central Utah were examined
for pollen and macrofloral remains. This open air site is defined by diagnostic
lithics. Lithic types and radiocarbon dates suggest that 42OT668 is a
nailtiocarpanent site with Late Archaic andFremont occupations, approximately 1880
to 1070 BP. Pollen and macrofloral analyses are used as an aid in identifying
subsistence activities and reconstructing local vegetation at the time of
occupation.
