Summary
Two stone points from Site 42SV662 inUtah were analyzed for possible blood
residues. Immunological studies have shown that blood residues from a tool's
surface can be identified using modified forensic procedures. Blood residue
analysis is used to help provide prehistoric subsistence information and possible
artifact task specificity.
