Summary

Sanples from a hearth and a burned area at Site 5RB3339 in western Colorado

were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. This site lies in an area with

considerable Fremont archaeology, and radiocarbon dates obtained from the

features range from 1900 to 830 BP. Pollen and macrofloral analysis will be used

to recover subsistence and possible agriculture evidence.
