Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings; Kathryn Puseman
Year: 1993
Summary
Pipeline trenching in 1988 for the Shoshone Municipal Water Supply Pipeline
uncovered nine features at Site FA88-136-3, Wyoming. These features all
represent buried hearths. Fill from Feature 5 was examined for pollen and
macrofloral remains to recover possible subsistence information. In addition,
soil from the prehistoric living surface was sampled to provide a control for
interpreting pollen and macrofloral remains recovered from the feature sample.
