Summary
Pollen analysis was conducted on samples from two rock piles at an Archaic
site (AZ N:7:112) near Glassford Hill in Prescott Valley, Arizona. In addition,
a pollen sample was examined as a modern control to establish a record of pollen
rain associated with the modern grassland vegetational comnunity. Pollen
analysis was undertaken to identify any evidence of subsistence associated with
these rock piles or occupation of the site.
