MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS OF REMAINS FROM STRATIGRAPHIC DEPOSITS AT WEST BEACH (SITE 3357) , OAHU
Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings
Year: 1993
Summary
The contents of eight sediment samples were examined for macrofloral
remains from Trench I at Site 3357, West Beach, Oahu. Radiocarbon ages place
time of accumulation of these sediments between approximately 3700 BC and AD
1283. Identification of macrofloral remains complements pollen analysis in
determining prehistoric vegetation for this portion of West Beach.
