Summary
Fourteen pollen samples were selected for pollen analysis from site 48SW1393 in Sweet Water County, Wyoming. This site is located approximately 600 meters east of the confluence of Deadman Wash and Tenmile Draw, and extends 450 meters south of this point. The site is situated in an extensive stabilized dune complex in a large valley or floodplain area associated with Deadman Wash and Tenmile Draw
drainages at an elevation of 6560 feet. This floodplain is generally characterized by low relief, although the entire area is surrounded by steep escarpments, which are typical of the Rock Springs Uplift region.
