Summary
Twelve sites excavated during the 1979 and 1980 field seasons in
the Pinon Forest-Lake Region in northern Arizona were selected for
pollen analysis. These sites were located on ridges near Oraibi Valley
to the east of Black Mesa and span occupation periods from AD 600 to
AD 1225.
