Author(s): Ronald J. Rood; PaleoResearch Institute; Vicki Overholser Rood
Year: 1983
Summary
A total of 1168 bones and bone fragments were recovered from the ten
sites tested in the 096 project. Of these, 465 bones or roughly 40% of the
sample could be identified to the genus or species level. The remaining
bones were placed into categories based upon their condition and level of
identifiability (Lyman 1979). Modified bone and bone tools are discussed at
the end of this report.
