POLLEN ANALYSIS OF FOUR METATES FROM 5ME3969

Summary

Four metates from 5ME3969 were selected for pollen analysis. The

ground surfaces of the metates were washed to liberate any pollen remaining

on them as a result of grinding foods. Pollen analysis was conducted on the

metate wash samples in an effort to determine wllat foods may have been

processed.
