THE LATE HOLOCENE OF SOUTHEASTERN NEBRASKA: POLLEN EVIDENCE FROM TWO MARSHES IN LANCASTER COUNTY

Summary

Paleoenvironmental reconstruction for southeastern Nebraska was undertaken

through the analysis of two stratigraphic cores from marshes in Lancaster

County, Nebraska. Evidence for both regional and local paleoenvironmental

trends was sought through the examination of marshes on the Little

Salt Creek and near Denton as part of the Stevens Creek lnterdisciplinary

Research Project.
