Author(s): Linda J. Scott; PaleoResearch Institute
Year: 1987
Summary
Single pollen and flotation samples were collected from an isolated
slab-lined cist near Westwater Creek for the purpose of recovering any
potential evidence of economic activity. The feature may have had two
episodes of use as a roasting and/or processing pit. In addition, a single
pollen sample was collected from the present ground surface to serve as a
control for interpretation.
