Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings; PaleoResearch Institute
Year: 1988
Summary
A coiled basket, referred to as the Peek-a-boo basket, was found in a
cache (42Sa20209) in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. In
an effort to determine the original contents of this cached basket, pollen
samples were collected in the form of washes from this basket while still at
the site. Control samples were also collected to aid in the interpretation
of pollen types representing economically important plants recovered.
