Summary
Seven samples from Great Basin sites in the Ward Charcoal Ovens State Park
in Nevada were examined for macrofloral remains. Lithic materials recovered from
many of these sites appear to be Archaic tools and debitage. Macrofloral
analysis is used to provide information concerning possible plant resources
utilized by the various occupants of the sites. This information will aid in
determining the research potential of these sites.
