Summary
The fill from a pit at Site 5RB3831 was floated and examined for charred macrofloral
remains. This site dates to the Late Archaic period, and the pit is believed to be associated with
food processing activities. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide information concerning plants
that may have been processed in the feature.
