Summary
The Rock Creek site (5BL2712) is a multicomponent site located directly adjacent to Rock Creek and approximately one mile north of Broomfield, Colorado. Four soil samples and two
manos were submitted for pollen and starch analysis. The samples were excavated from
sediments representing both the Middle Archaic and Ceramic Periods. Pollen and starch
evidence may offer some insight into plants processed and utilized at the site.
