Summary

The Hardtrigger Creek burial site (10OE5968) consists of a single adult male. At present,

no radiocarbon age or prehistoric cultural affiliation has been assigned for this burial, which was

recovered in the foothills of the Owyhee Mountains of southwestern Idaho. One sample from

the lower abdominal cavity area of the burial was examined for pollen evidence of foods this

individual might have consumed prior to death. A control sample was examined to facilitate

interpretation of the pollen record.
