Summary
Nine pollen and ten phytolith samples were examined from site 42Ws104 in Parunuweap
Canyon, Zion National Park, Utah. At least Anasazi and Paiute occupations are represented.
Both pollen and phytolith analysis were conducted on nine of the samples to identify elements
of the local plant communities that might have been processed by occupants of this site.
