Summary
Site 5GA869, the Horn Ranch Site, is located on a bench overlooking the Colorado and
Fraser Rivers in Middle Park, Grand County, Colorado. Two stratigraphic columns were
examined to identify trends in vegetation composition over the past more than 7000 years. In
addition, seven pieces of groundstone were washed for pollen and starch granules to identify
foods that were ground.
