Summary

Four sediment samples recovered from depths ranging from 170 to 377 cm below the

surface at Lelepaua Fishpond (site 50-80-13-82) were examined for pollen and foraminifera. This

site is located near the entrance to Pearl Harbor Estuary, Oahu. Pollen samples were examined

to identify vegetation surrounding the fishpond at the time of its use and confirm that these

sediments represent fishpond sediments.
