Summary
Two samples from the fill of a hearth recovered during the Apex Road Salvage in Gilpin
County, Colorado, were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. This hearth was found
eroding out of a road cut. Pollen and macrofloral analyses are used to provide information
concerning plant resources utilized in this hearth.
