Summary

Samples from prehistoric site 42DC823 in northeast Utah were sampled for pollen and/or

macrofloral remains. This site has been lithic cross-dated to the late Archaic and possibly the

protohistoric, while radiocarbon dates range from 3740 to 840 BP. Pollen and macrofloral

analysis is used to provide information concerning possible plant resources utilized by the

Archaic occupants of the site.
