Summary
Floated feature fill was examined for macrofloral remains from sites 5ME6731, 5MN3859,
5MN3876, 5SM2425, LA 20266, LA 38528, LA 86086, and LA 120494 as part of the
TransColorado Pipeline Project. These eight sites represent Archaic, Formative, Dinetah Navajo,
and early historic Ute occupations in western Colorado and northern New Mexico. Macrofloral
analysis will be used to provide information concerning plant resources utilized by the various
occupants of these sites to aid in determining subsistence practices and season of occupation
for the groups represented in this study.
