POLLEN ANALYSIS AT 5MV1936, COLORADO
Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings
Year: 2001
Summary
Three sediment samples from a potential agricultural area and between walls of 5MV1936,
a possible reservoir, were examined for pollen. Pollen samples from the potential agricultural areas
were examined in an effort to recover pollen representing agricultural crops to refine the
interpretation of this area. The sample representing sediment between the walls surrounding this
possible reservoir, collected with an auger, was examined to recover pollen that might help
establish the function of this feature as a reservoir.
