Summary

Four pollen samples and one macrofloral sample were examined from a female burial at

site 42SV2543. The burial was discovered during trenching operation on Main Street in Salina,

Utah. The burial dates to the Fremont culture and yielded a conventional radiocarbon date of 1070

± 40 BP, with a two sigma calibrated age range of A.D. 890 to 1020.
