Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings; Kathryn Puseman
Year: 2001
Summary
Five samples from trenches along Ala Moana Boulevard in Waikiki, Hawaii, were examined
for both pollen and macrofloral remains. These samples were collected from fishponds that were
filled in during the Waikiki Land Reclamation between 1921-1929. Pollen and macrofloral analysis
will be used to provide information concerning vegetation near the fishponds.
