Summary
Samples from shell midden deposits at site CA-SBA-212 on Vandenberg Air Force Base,
California, were floated to recover macrofloral remains. Radiocarbon dates from this site reflect
occupation during the Middle and Late Periods, from 290 to 2130 cal B.P. Macrofloral analysis is
used to provide information concerning subsistence activities at this site.
