Summary
Two bulk soil samples from a horizon in the Dry Hills of Nevada, near Beowawe, were
floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. Botanic components and
detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated.
