Summary
Three manos were recovered from structural fill (Structure 1) dating between 500 and 800
BP at the Picketwire site (5LA5838) in southeastern Colorado. These manos were washed to
recover pollen to identify plants that were ground. In addition, two sediment samples were
examined from the fill of the hearth and sediment in the structure.
