Summary
Stratigraphic pollen samples from two prehistoric sites in Eureka County, Nevada,
located near the Humboldt River, were examined to provide information concerning vegetation
growing at the time these sites were occupied. Site 26Eu3654, a small, dispersed lithic scatter
was located on an alluvial fan south of the Humboldt River, while site 26Eu3655, another
dispersed lithic scatter, was situated on a small knoll south of the river. Five pollen samples
were examined from each site.
