Summary

This paper discusses the role of 3D visualisation and sound in the exposition of archaeo

astronomic data. The author presents a musical sonification and 3D animated

visualisation of the sky over a stone circle. The animation becomes a focus for discussion

and raises the question, can we use sound and images to demystify astronomic data ?
