Summary
Two soil samples from a human-modified ephemeral stream west of Cedar City, Utah,
were submitted for pollen analysis to determine if either of these samples represents lacustrine
conditions. In addition, macrofloral remains saved from the two pollen samples and an
individual charcoal sample were examined for organic material to submit for radiocarbon dating.
