Summary

Seven samples from hearth and posthole fill at the Shadow Site (48SW11618) in

southwestern Wyoming were examined for pollen. The samples represent a Late Uinta Phase

Prehistoric component, and radiocarbon testing of charcoal from Feature 1 returned a 2-sigma

calibrated date of 1300 to 1170 B.P. (Beta-208787).
