Summary
A total of 22 samples were examined to recover charcoal or other charred organic
fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. These samples were recover:d from stream
deposits along drainages in the Price River Basin of northeast Utah. Botanic components and
detrital charcoal were identified and potentially datable radiocarbon matenal was separated.
Charcoal from seven samples were AMS radiocarbon dated.
