Summary
Two samples of possible clean-out residue from an earth oven at site 35 LIN 555 were
floated to recover macrofloral remains. This site is located in the Willamette Valley near
Albany, Oregon. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide information concerning plants that
might have been utilized, especially camas, and to help determine the function of the feature.
