Summary
The fill of a hearth at site 24PH2975 in northeast Montana was examined for macrofloral
remains to provide subsistence information concerning plant resources utilized by the
prehistoric occupants of this site. Charcoal from the hearth fill also was identified and
processed for AMS radiocarbon analysis to identify woods burned as fuel and an age of
occupation.
