Summary
A total of five bulk soil samples were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for
radiocarbon analysis. These samples were collected from along the Interstate 50 corridor in
the Nevada desert. Samples were examined for the presence of botanic remains that could be
dated to provide ages of past earthquakes in the area.
