Summary

Fill from a hearth at site CA-SDI-12789 was examined for macrofloral remains. This

hearth was found in the 4S Ranch Project in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego County, California.

The site is currently characterized as a Late Prehistoric temporary camp and is believed to have

been occupied within approximately the last 1,300 years. Macrofloral analysis will be used to

provide information concerning plant resources utilized by the site occupants.
