Summary
Four ceramic sherds from 32CS4478, the Sprunk Site, were submitted for organic
residue analysis. This Late Prehistoric date located in Cass County date around AD 1450. The
sherds were collected from different provenience units and are believed to represent four
different vessels. Organic residue analysis using the FTIR is used to identify foods cooked in
vessels.
