Summary
Site FB 776, located on the northwest portion of the Fort Bliss Maneuver Area in
southern New Mexico, is represented by a single sediment sample collected from the 2Ab
Horizon at a depth from 30 to 85 cm below the surface. Pollen and phytolith analyses were
conducted on this sample as a preliminary study to establish whether or not evidence could be
obtained that would provide information concerning past vegetation in this location.
