Summary
Six samples from colluvial wedges on the California Wash fault in Clark County,
Nevada, were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. All six samples were processed to
recover humates for AMS radiocarbon dating. In addition, two samples from the Central
Wildcat Wash fault and two samples from the Southern Wildcat Wash fault in Lincoln County,
Nevada, also were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. AMS radiocarbon dates were
obtained for one piece of charcoal and two humate samples from these two faults.
