Summary
A total of 17 samples from the A. V. Watkins Dam Project were examined to recover
organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. Botanic components and detrital charcoal
were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated. A total of six
samples were processed for AMS radiocarbon dating. An additional wood fragment also was
submitted for identification and AMS radiocarbon dating.
