POLLEN ANALYSIS OF SAMPLES FROM AN AGRICULTURAL TERRACE, LAHAINA, HAWAI'I

Summary

The Lahaina Bypass 1, CSH2 site is a pre-contact agricultural terrace complex situated

on the south bank of Puamana stream adjacent to CSH1 (Feature A). A minimum of 19

agricultural terraces were noted. Two pollen samples were collected and analyzed from TU-4

and TU-6 within Stratum II to search for evidence of agriculture.
