Summary
Four charcoal samples and two charred botanic samples were recovered from two cores in Unit K at Perkáta – Nyúli-dulo, Hungary. This site is a Bronze Age fortified settlement with a cultural layer spanning 0.80-1.50 m in depth that shows evidence of continuous occupation. Samples were recovered from lower, middle, and upper levels of the cultural layer noted in each of the two cores. These samples were submitted for identification and AMS radiocarbon dating to determine timing and length of site occupation. A total of six radiocarbon dates were obtained.
