Author(s): Kathryn Puseman
Year: 1999
Summary
Four bulk soil samples from Nevada were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for
radiocarbon dating. Two samples were taken from a fault trench at Whites Creek in the Carson
Range, and two samples were recovered from a fault trench on the southeast side of C Hill in
Carson City. Botanic components and detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon
datable material was separated.
