MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS OF SOIL FROM SITE 7NC-F-18, LUMS POND STATE PARK, DELAWARE

Summary

Twelve soil samples from Site 7NC-F-18 in northern Delaware were floated to recover

charred macrofloral remains. Five samples were recovered from prehistoric pit features and seven

samples came from stratified prehistoric levels. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide information

concerning plant resources that may have been utilized by the prehistoric occupants of this site.
