Summary

This report is prepared at the request of Region 7 of the Bureau of Reclamation in accordance with their control schedule of August 1947, for the National Park Service, as amended by letter dated December 22, 1947.

The Bureau of Reclamation district office at Casper, Wyoming, was visited on October 30, 1947, and current information on Braziel Reservoir site was secured from District Manager I. J. Matthews. A field study and investigation of the entire reservoir site were made on November 1, 1947, by Landscape Architect Raymond L. Freeman and Engineer Max E. Edgar. A general inspection of Goshen Hole Reservoir, Wyoming, was also made at the same time.
