A total of 340 building properties, consisting of 97 in the Village of Fort Edward, 62 in the Town of Fort Edward, and 181 in the Village of Hudson Falls, border US 4 within project limits. The following properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places are located within project limits. Four individual properties consist of St. James Episcopal Church, the U.S. Post Office, and the Wing-Northrup House in the Village of Fort Edward; and the U.S. Post Office in Hudson Falls. The Hudson Falls Historic District extends along US 4 (Main Street) between Mechanic Street and Martindale Avenue in Hudson Falls.
