Summary

The Filoli paleoseismic site is located on the San Andreas Fault in Woodside, San

Mateo County, California. Bulk soil samples collected from the north wall of Trench 2 and from the south and north walls of Trench 3 were submitted for macrofloral analysis to recover charred remains suitable for AMS radiocarbon age determination. One to four different charred remains from every sample were selected, yielding a total of 30 AMS radiocarbon dates.
