Summary

This letter and its attached reports concern observations made in May of 2005 at Building 612A, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Geo-Marine, Inc. Building 612A is one of a series of kitchen and mess halls located near the Long Barracks (Building Nos. 603–610, 613) in the historic Infantry Post section of Fort Sam Houston. The building was associated with Building 612 (now demolished). It is a contributing element of the Fort Sam Houston National Historic Landmark District under National Register Criteria A (historical significance) and Criteria C (architectural significance).
